Workshop Opportunities (WSU Vancouver)

Fall Preparation Cohorts

We are partnering with AOI to run a twelve week faculty cohort on online learning for Vancouver. Each week the cohort meets to get a presentation on an issue around online practice and course design, along with a demonstration of an online tool or method. Sign up for the cohort to get added to the Zoom meetings.

The schedule will evolve over time, but these are the first eight weeks. Mike Caulfield also co-runs a separate AOI cohort on assessment, with a slightly different schedule.

Mike Caulfield produces a YouTube video of each presentation that can be viewed separately. Click on the links above after the presentation has run (usually within a day or two) for a streamlined video presentation.

Blended Content Studio

Blended Content Studio shows faculty how to make short multimedia pieces for their courses. There is a course each Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon starting June 23rd. Contact Mike Caulfield at michael.caulfield@wsu.edu to receive an invite to either series (or both). You will be invited to all of the events, but can decline those in which you are not interested.
